Leaving Tunisia a few years ago to follow his studies of music in Paris, Maher Kaabi has quickly become an artist who cannot be ignored on the oriental stage.
Starting within the orchestra of "La jeunesse musicale de la Goulette" conducted by the great author and composer "Faycel Dridi", he decides to leave but not without a few regrets, his beloved Tunisia to go to conquer "L'hexagone" (France) where he encounters many of the big names of music and has several meetings that take him onto the international stage.
From this moment, he made many successful albums. Firstly, there was "Diva", an album of five tracks that marks a return of classic oriental music from the twenties to fifties; then "Carthage-Paris" was released, a union of lyrics in French and Arabic but also a mix of musical styles coming from Asia, West and East. On this album, you will certainly be blown away by the three tracks that express brilliantly the whole nostalgia and melancholy of his native land. Maher KAABI also released a compilation called "Oriental Mix Party" in July 2005.
